A Great Quote

I stumbled upon a quote today that touched me unexpectedly.  So much so, that I found it to be share-worthy.

I hope that you also enjoy ~

You can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.

– John Wooden (UCLA Men’s Basketball Coach. 10x NCAA Champiom)

Sometimes we have to humble ourselves. Sometimes we have to let go, even when it feels so unfair. We have to let go of our pride, let go of our expectations, let go of our wants.  Sometimes, we have to give for giving sake.  Then, we can be connected to a much bigger and greater Spirit within.  We start to feel the peace of it. We can begin to understand the unconditional love and giving of Heaven & Earth.  Even if it’s just a tiny taste.

I am so grateful to have met with this quote today 🙂

  1. In the same vein, I ran a across this quote today. It seemed to fit the topics of the past few entries in the blog. A non duality point of view.
“The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.” All we humans are doing is “completing the circuit” within us–until we both see from the same perspective.”. Meister Eckhart. German mystic
This reality is breathtaking to me. And one that I would like to have more experience of knowing this truth. Charlene

  2. This is so great. I work for a non profit and this quote is perfect for our staff and donors. I will definitely be sharing with my colleagues:) I just printed it and posted it on my office wall:)

  3. This quote touched me again today. I received an email this afternoon thanking me for donating blood and it included this exact saying. Made my day:)
